About
Iris van de Winkel (Eindhoven, 1998) is a fine artist and educated illustrator. In 2020 she graduated cum laude from the academy in Maastricht, Zuid-Limburg. Soon after, a career solely as an illustrator turned out insufficient and Iris turned to the world of fine arts in addition.
Iris’ work stems from her ability to quickly capture a subject on paper, yet also provide it with great depth. Her work is highly detailed, carefully rendered and edges on the magical side of things.
Additionally to her autonomous drawings and paintings, Iris still happily works in commission.
